I searched out this Pub for local fare in the heart of downtown. It is a small and very comfy place. My server is adorably friendly. She could wait on my table all night.
The Black Jack Burger surprised me. Yes, I read that the patties are ✋ made. What I didn't see coming was the slice of pineapple under the lettuce, tomato and onion! What a kick for the mouth! It is delicious! Add to this their waffle sweet potato fries and a brew.
My favorite is the house burger called the Jack Attack. Whatever they use in the burger blend is great. Sub out the fries or chips for the onion petals and dipping sauce. Some of the best around.
I can't rate the food because we sat there for 30 minutes and no one ever acknowledged that we were there. No one gave us menus, no one said hello. Nothing. They were not busy. They did however wait on the people who came in 30 minutes after us. Great place to be ignored and feel invisible.
The burgers were absolutely amazing! Seasoned just right and practically melted in your mouth with each bite. From the second we walked in, the service was phenomenal. I would highly recommend treating yourself to this establishment.
Went here with our family and had high expectations. Waitress was rude and unhelpful, other waitresses were too busy clumping behind the bar talking to each other to take care of their tables, and food was less than satisfactory. Do yourself a favor and don't order anything with cheese sauce because it's like cold slime. Because of the awful service will not be returning.
