What a great place! Literally feet off the Blue Ridge Pkwy. In a quiet location, we we're welcomed by to Labs that are super friendly and receiving. Rooms are super clean and comfortable and have been totally renovated. Highly recommend it.
This is a gem in the skyline parkway. If you are needing a break and want a no frills but very comfortable place to bed down for the night, this is it. We got to watch our favorite series on Netflix on the biggest TV I've ever seen in a hotel. Owners were nice and friendly and genuine. Restaurant on property is also a 5 star so make sure you stop in time for a reasonably priced dinner. At night you can see all the stars in the black sky since there is not much artificial light
Good food and service. Restaurant is very clean, a little pricey and could use more parking. Overall a very good experience.
The waitress was very attentive and was able to make a recommendation that suited my needs. The bread was good, the meal was hot, and the beverages were kept flowing. Incidentally, the lemon pound cake was good...the toppings were a pleasant surprise and yummy!!! Good coffee, too! (Gevalia) :)
The food was outstanding. The brisket is out of this world. Our waitress, Darius, was simply wonderful. She was witty, funny, and altogether excellent. The owner, Mark, was extremely nice. The only negative was a horribly unhappy patron who put a damper on the fun we were enjoying.
