Amazing! Like walking into a time machine. Coming to this place has become a holiday tradition for our family. We don’t live in West Jefferson but we come to the area every year for the holidays. Since the new run of Star Wars movies started three years ago we won’t see it anywhere else. From walking in the door and being greeted by a friendly face and not forking over a small fortune for 5 people to see a film , to the snack bar simplicity and extremely Fair prices, the parkland theater is a small town treasure.

It's the cutest downtown theater and they don't rip you off on the snack prices. Love coming here when I visit my grandparents.

There are only two showings at a time so there aren’t many crowds or mazes to get lost in. The theater has new seats that are comfortable and slopes so there’s no one blocking your view. Once the lights dim and the movie starts there is no difference between this or any other theater.
Tony, the owner is a really great guy and friendly and his prices are cheaper than anywhere else that I know. The seats are very comfortable and it's just a great place to go for a date or to take the kids.
